I served as the president of the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce for almost 15 years before starting my consulting business. During that time I worked with small and large businesses, not-for-profit organizations, community groups, and government agencies to make the Ithaca and Tompkins County area thrive. I’ve also worked as a Congressional staffer, a community education developer, and a campaign manager.

My areas of expertise include not-for-profit management, strategic planning, governance and public speaking. I’ve served on more than 15 local and national boards of directors working in areas including health care, community colleges, museums, and human services.

I enjoy creating structure out of chaos and believe that you can do serious work without being too serious.  I look forward to helping you succeed.
